Cretan Cat-a-list is an established charity providing a vital animal welfare role within the Rethymno region of Crete, Greece. The charity is run solely by committed volunteers, who give up their time to care for the animals, and is part of a network of Animal Welfare Centres in Europe.
Our main focus is the Trap, Neuter and Release (TNR) Programme for stray cats and kittens and providing veterinary care when necessary. We do not have a rescue centre or shelter; we have a limited number of foster homes should an animal need accommodation. Sick and injured cats and kittens in the Rethymno area, who are unable to fend for themselves, are our priority.
The Charity relies on donations from members of the public, supporters and receives occasional small grants from International Animal Welfare Organisations. We also organise local fundraising events throughout the year and all funds raised go towards our work.
Please help us by making a donation, however small or large, as your donation really counts and will make a difference.
Thank you.
